St. Andrews encourages students and their families to visit our campus through scheduling a personalized private visit, or register to attend one of our Open House events. During a visit, you have the opportunity to learn about our campus, our educational opportunities, extracurricular involvement, campus and community life and, most importantly, have the chance to ask the questions that are important to you!
Virtual events will be just like our physical events but hosted on a Zoom platform. During virtual events, you will have a chance to see what it is like to be a student at the University, tour the campus including student housing, learn about our Academic programs and learn about Financial Aid. We will have a presentation on keys points about SAU, a chat room for students to ask questions, polls to ask to answer questions during the event, and videos to engage the students.
Virtual YEDA Open House! – January 27th @ 6:30 pm EST
Welcome YEDA riders and families! families St. Andrews invites you to join your Equestrian Admissions Counselor Lindsey DeCourcey via Zoom to learn more about St. Andrews University. We will discuss Academic programs, Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarship opportunities as well as hear from Assistant IHSA Western Coach and St. Andrews Alumni, Coach Cailey Culp! Coach Culp will share what life is like as a St. Andrews Equestrian and about riding for a multi-title IHSA National Championship Western Team. Have a chance to ask questions and learn more about how to become a KNIGHT and continue your winning ways in college at a world-class facility, with some of the best trainers and faculty in the industry!
Virtual Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop! – February 6th @ 11:00 am EST
Join us on February 6th at 11:00 am for our Virtual Financial Aid and Scholarship Workshop. St. Andrews has started awarding students for Fall 2021. This is a great event to learn about completing your FAFSA, what you could qualify for and how to search for Scholarships. Already completed your FAFSA, we will review timelines of when you will receive an award from us and how we send it to you. We hope you can join us!
Virtual MBA Information Session! – February 8th @ 4:00 pm EST
Join us for our Virtual MBA Information Session on February 8th at 4:00 pm to learn more about St. Andrews and our MBA Program. Dr. Wayne Freeman, Director of the MBA Program at St. Andrews will share his background and how the program works. Dr. Christopher Hitch, Professor in the MBA program will share examples of projects students have worked on. Elizabeth Hunter, Admissions Counselor will walk through the steps of getting started in the program. We look forward to seeing you.
Personalized Private Visits
Personalized private visits are available Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Selected Saturdays. During the weekday, students and families can request to have a one-on-one discussion with an admissions counselor, a member from the faculty, sit in on a class, have lunch in our Knights Dining Hall, as well as, have a tour of the campus and/or St. Andrews Equestrian Center. You may fill out a request to schedule a weekday visit.
You may schedule a Saturday Visit via our online form. Only applies to selected Saturdays out of the academic semester. Not all departments will be available during the weekends. Please refer to the Weekday Private Visit Request Form for extended visiting options. We do not offer campus tours on Sunday.
Virtual Visits are available at a time that is convenient for the student and the counselor. Virtual Visits will be hosted on a Zoom platform, where you will meet with an Admissions Counselor, just like you would if you were here physically. They can talk to you about the Admissions Process, talk with you about Financial Aid, and give you some information on what it means to be a Knight. There is also the possibility of a virtual tour. From the north: Follow I-95 South, then U.S. 74 West (about 30 miles) into Laurinburg. Take the St. Andrews University exit, turning right off the ramp, left at the second light (Lauchwood Drive), and then right into the campus.
From the south: Follow I-95 North, then U.S. 501 North (North Carolina exit 1) into Laurinburg. Follow the hospital signs, then turn left onto Lauchwood Drive. Pass the hospital, and the campus will be on the left, across from Holly Square Shopping Center.
From the east: Follow U.S. 74 West to Laurinburg and take the St. Andrews University exit. Turn right off the ramp, left at the second light (Lauchwood Drive), and then right into the campus.
