Please be advised that St. Andrews University, a branch of Webber International University, will remain open for the remainder of the semester unless otherwise notified.  However, with evolving information on COVID-19, as of Thursday, March 19th, students will have two options for continuing the semester:

1)     Remote instruction while staying on campus;

2)     Remote instruction away from campus.

The university will work with and fully support those students who wish to return home and continue their education remotely and those students who choose to remain on campus.

The university, the residence halls, and food services will remain open for students on-campus. The library and all academic and administrative support services will remain open and available to all students both on-campus and remotely for students who have returned home.

Classes will be held at regularly scheduled times on Monday, March 16th, and Tuesday, March 17th. There will be no classes on Wednesday, March 18th as students, faculty, and staff prepare to transition to remote learning. Remote learning classes will begin on Thursday, March 19th and will continue for the remainder of the spring semester.

Keep in mind that there are still no cases of COVID-19 in Scotland County and; according to the Scotland Country Health Department and the CDC, the campus remains a low risk COVID-19 environment.  For those of you who are considering going home, please do not leave campus abruptly. We need you to follow an orderly and organized process, so that the university can properly support and communicate with students who will be leaving campus (as well as those who are staying). The check-out process forms, for students choosing remote learning away from campus, and the check-in process forms, for students choosing remote learning on campus, will be available on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the Admissions and Registrar’s Offices.

We will continue to update you regularly on all new information about the coronavirus and send these updates to you via your St. Andrews email; as well as on the website and Social Media. We are committed to supporting you and look forward to each of you successfully completing the spring semester.
