Hello Knights,
I’d like to remind you that we have a robust Writing Center to help you become better writers.
The webpage for the Writing Center is: www.sa.edu/writingcenter Please consider bookmarking this page for quick reference.
The webpage includes resources on:
- Composing annotated bibliographies, literature reviews, and college essays
- Tips & tools to understand the craft of academic writing
- Avoiding plagiarism
- MLA, APA, & Chicago citation style guides
I offer monthly academic workshops virtually on topics related to research and writing. This is a good opportunity to earn study hall credit. Please check your email for upcoming workshops.
Most importantly, I offer one-on-one assistance for students. Regardless of your writing level or where you are in the process of writing (ex. brainstorming, first draft, second draft), I can help you clearly translate your thoughts and research into written form. While I cannot edit your papers, compose them myself, or guarantee a higher grade, I can help you to become more confident in your writing. Writing is a skill that will carry you through your entire career!
If you would like help or have any questions, please reach out to me.
Let’s end this semester well!
