Hello, everyone. If we had the ability to genetically engineer children, what kind of social ramifications would there be? What would happen to those children, and the children of those children, as genetic enhancement becomes the norm? What if some parents couldn’t afford it? Gattaca (1997), a sci-fi thriller starring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, explores these questions. Come watch a screening of the film this Thursday at 7 PM in the DeTamble Library.
