VIEWPOINT – Documentary Series
St. Andrews University is collaborating with the producers of VIEWPOINT starring Dennis Quaid (www.viewpointproject.com).
VIEWPOINT is a short-form documentary series distributed to Public Television stations in all 50 states. They also provide accompanying video and marketing services to the entities highlighted on their shows following the documentary production. Their storyline is the current path and road ahead for Liberal Arts education in the United States. Based on their research, SAU has risen to the top for this production ahead of several other potential universities.
The overall project will include the production of one (1) 3-5-minute educational segment produced as a standalone short-form documentary for distribution to Public Television Stations nationwide (estimated reach for one year is 60 million households). VIEWPOINT maintains editorial control for the series format following Public TV Standards and will adhere to guidelines for Public Television’s official practices.
We are moving forward with this opportunity and asking your financial support for the $30,000. Our Alumni Council was briefed on this project Saturday, September 16 – they gave/pledged $13,000 that day. We are almost 50% to our goal!
