Dear Residential and Online Students,
Key Dates to Remember
- Wednesday, Jan. 15 is the last day to add/drop semester-long courses (courses which meet 1/7/25-4/30/25) without a "W."
Attendance Matters
- Attend every class and participate in assignments—it’s required!
- If you need to miss a class, inform your professor and find out if you can catch up on missed work.
- Excessive absences can impact your grade—check your syllabus for details.
Important Reminder
- You must login, attend class, and/or communicate with your professor. Students enrolled in 8- or 16-week courses who have not attended or participated in class for 14 consecutive calendar days are at risk of being administratively withdrawn from their courses by the Dean of Academic Affairs.
- Withdrawing from a course can have serious consequences: it could change your course schedule, reduce your financial aid, delay your graduation, or even affect your athletic eligibility. Plus, you’ll still be responsible for any tuition and fees owed to the university.
Wishing you a successful and productive spring semester!
Talk with your professor or see your academic advisor today if you need assistance.
Best regards,
Stephanie McDavid
