I’m writing to remind everyone about the importance of keeping our hallways clear of any equipment, shoes, or other personal belongings. We’ve discussed this before, but it’s crucial to reiterate that items left outside dorm rooms pose a significant fire hazard.
In the event of a fire, any obstacles in the hallways could hinder evacuation efforts, putting everyone’s safety at risk. Moreover, if the fire department is called out and finds equipment or shoes in the hallways, fines may be imposed.
Please take a moment to ensure that your belongings are stored inside your room and not in the hallway. We are not responsible for any items left in the hallways or lounges that are damaged or go missing.
