As part of an institutional commitment to increasing the visibility of Esports opportunities to the female population, St. Andrews University will be hosting their inaugural Girls in Gaming camp this summer from July 10-16.
St. Andrews Esports coaching staff and senior players will host the 6-day residential camp that will allow attendees to learn more about the daily lives of collegiate Esports athletes, as well as gaining an insight into the different employment opportunities that there are within Esports outside of being a professional gamer. Throughout the week there will be daily Q&A sessions from female senior leadership figures within the Esports industry in different sectors such as Graphic Design, Marketing, Partnerships, People
Operations and many more! All camp members will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of coaching sessions across different genres of games to develop their individual mechanical skills as well as the fundamentals of teamwork, communication and leadership.
