Mission of Campus Safety

Our mission is to provide our community with a safe and secure learning environment.  Our department also supports and ensures compliance with the institutional policies and philosophy within the framework of federal, state, and local laws.  Securing the campus community involves a great amount of responsibility and authority.  We involve all members of our campus community in this responsibility, thus improving college safety and our quality of life.

Our role in the campus community includes crime detection and crime prevention through community services, security activities and programs.   Effective security is the foundation for community wellness.  As individuals, we remain proud of our workforce.  We believe in the dignity and value of all people.  This respect allows us to grow as individuals and interact in a healthy environment.  The primary function of Campus Safety and Security is to ensure that our college community experiences the educational process free from unwarranted concerns for safety and security.  Please feel free to call upon us if you have any questions or concerns.
